Writers (Still) Wanted! Mar 31, 2008 – Obscurity Press
Attention aspiring writers, story tellers, and travel bloggers: we're seeking new columnists, travel writers and news/current affairs commentators for all our sites at Obscurity Press!
- If you live in the far chilly North of Alaska, northern BC, the Yukon, NWT, Nunavut, Nunavik, Greenland, Lappland or Siberia, consider writing for TheSourdough.
- And if you live or are traveling in Southeast Asia, Southwest China or the Pacific Isles, IndochinaToday is the site for you.
- TheGringo needs writers in Mexico, Central America and South America as well as the Southwestern States in the USA.
- And, as always, TheShoestring seeks columnists to share their frugal insights with us.
We can offer two bucks (*) per column, which we pay by PayPal only or through gift cards that we can mail to you.
Just email us some ideas for articles, and off we go - it's fun, and the two dollar payments can really add up, especially for our writers in Latin America, Southeast Asia or the Midwest region of the United States where two bucks still goes a long, long, long way!
Articles are usually just a page long (500 words or so), and are full of local texture and flavor. No press releases or marcom writers, please....!
If you are a blogger and are blogging from any of the places we serve, or on topics dear to our hearts like low-budget living, lodging, dining and transportin, let us know. We'd love to repost your blog entries (if original, stand-alone columns - we don't need short blurbs filtering other content, there's alreay way too much of that on the web.) But if you like to babble, ramble or otherwise type in a streamofconscious manner, have been likened to Kerouac or other great beat write, let us know. We're here for you.
